Testimonial – Tony Chen, General Manager Shopzilla.com; July 2009:

"If there’s one word I could use to describe Patricia, it’s passion. But she’s not just passionate about triathlons (that much is clear!), she’s also passionate about coaching and teaching, and getting other people excited about the sport.

In 2006, Patricia started up the Yahoo! Triathlon team, signing up over 29 members for the Malibu sprint triathlon race. She put together a training program for the team, gave clinics about the race, gave much needed advice on equipment to buy, and helped to organize training runs, etc. It kept the whole team motivated, and in the end, many of us went on to do more triathlons and even marathons, because her passion fired up our own passion for the sport.

More recently, Patricia helped me put together a small triathlon team at Shopzilla. She came in and did a triathlon 101 clinic and is providing guidance to our individual team members.

Overall, I would highly recommend Patricia as a partner/coach for setting up your own triathlon team – her passion will inspire you and others to do a triathlon, even if it is your first!"

Coaching Recommendation – Bobby McGee, Olympic Coach and Running Expert – September 2009 after another USA Triathlon Coaches Seminar:

Often when I present a seminar, there is a coach in the audience who is a perfect foil. An individual who asks questions, makes comparisons between what they do, as compared to what I recommend & causes me to step up my game.  This type of person tells me that we have great triathlon coaches in the USA. We have people who are passionate & actually spending their days out there coaching. Individuals looking to be a part of creating the next US World IM champ, or the 70.3 world champ, or an Olympic medal– & even more importantly, inspiring individuals on a daily basis to transcend their current view of themselves & get out there & do it! This makes me very happy – leaving a legacy of having in some small way inspired someone to serve this great sport of ours. Such a person is Patricia Anglano. I wish her continued success & I hope she remains in the sport until she fulfills her potential as a leader of triathletes & runners.
